Henry Gallagher

I've been repeating this video over and over again. The feeling is getting stronger and stronger whenever I watch it. So impressive... So catchy... Goosebumps to the max!

A 12 y/o schoolboy, Henry Gallagher from Standish, Wigan had attended Britain's Got Talent 2015 last year. He performed his own written song "Lightning" in the audition and proudly won thousands of hearts from the crowds. The song he had written is about a girl who he had a crush on. But until today, the girl's name is yet to be revealed.

One thing that I'm impressed is that he shows the love towards his secret crush to the world, without fears. Which I believe not all the adults could do so. Love is amazing. You would rather tell the whole world that how much you love a girl without her knowing that. Protecting her from disturbance because you understand that she might be interfered. I would rather believe that Henry does not want to reveal who the girl is is because he preserves the privacy of his crush. Um, and maybe because he is afraid of losing her? Whatever the reason is, I will still salute him!

OK! Back to the video. "That is a really, really good song. You're talented", said Simon Cowell. I believe no one would ever doubt this.  Henry expresses his music with the use of simple words in the lyric but very catchy tones. (humming...) Seriously, he knows how to trigger girl's heart, haha. He is cheerful in the way he performs and how he responses in life. With his family's supports, it boosts up a lot confidence to Henry. Family love beats everything all the time!

After the audition, Henry had successfully gone through Semi-Final. It is little bit disappointed that he wasn't the final winner of that year. But, I believe he had been acknowledged by the public. 

There are some people out there claimed that Henry's part of performance in the video has been over editing due to suspicious movements of some equipment, the capo on his guitar. Some even believed that Henry had attempted to sing the song twice in the show or played a second song which has since been cut out. 

Despite this, someone from the show had been voiced out on this issue. Saying that Henry was only performed once in the live show and he moved the capo in the mid of song while singing perfectly. Check this out for more information: Britain's Got Talent defends Henry Gallagher over editing claims 

Anyhow, Henry is still good in my heart. He is passionate about musics, ambitious and Pop star wannabe. With his talents, I believe his music journey gonna be as bright as it is. Hopefully someday in the future, I would be told that Henry Gallagher is holding his crush's hand tight and announce a good news of his love story finally comes true.
