REVIEW: My Top Five Picks at MiX Convenience Store

What is your favorite activity on a cloudy day? Well, there is nothing better than snacking while watching TV. Western people like having popcorns but us, Malaysian, as if a culture to just grab potato chips and TV remote controller then a movie marathon is about to begin. Getting bored with those usual chips from Mr. Potato and Pringles? Why not try on something new? Of course, you can always get imported potato chips from Village Grocer but here's another choice of yours - MiX Convenience Store, one of the biggest snacks chain store in Malaysia. 

Surprisingly, MiX has developed in this industry for more than ten years since its foundation in 2005. As a whole, they sell imported snacks from Taiwan, China, Thailand, Korea just to name a few. What you could find snacks are on trend now, apparently it will be available here. There are a few products that I actually kinda like it in this convenience store so here I am to suggest maybe you should give it a try too. 

Snack #1: Gan Yuan Crab Roe Flavour Sunflower Seeds 

Comes in individual 8 small packs (approximately). You may find some other flavors in store but I always stick to this during my visit. If you're sunflower seeds lover, I will suggest you get yourself at least two big packs or more every round your snack restock. I used to finish half of it before my movie ends though (lol). 

Snack #2: Rice Cracker

It tastes a bit salty to me so I often get myself ready for some drinks. It's addictive and I just can't stop munching especially when that one piece size is just appropriate for one-mouth-bite. Like you do not need to break it in half and bother to clean up after the mess. It's good and convenient to keep in a bag and enjoy in flight too!

Snack #3: Gery Cheese Crackers

I'm not too sure if you can get it elsewhere but MiX was the first retail I saw it for sale. Remember my colleague introduced this to me and I totally fell for it after the first try. It comes in five or six individual packs and I believe it's a good choice for a tea break time. This cracker is available in dark chocolate flavor too in case you wonder. 

Snack #4: An Mu Xi Greek Yogurt Drinks

Here comes the best seller in MiX Convenience Store. If you're a fan of Chinese Running Man, I bet this product wouldn't be new to you. The texture is much thicker than those yogurt drinks we usually have in Malaysia so I get contented after one packet. MiX does sell different flavors and bottle sizes that we usually see in the market. All taste perfectly good!

#Snack 5: Thailand Betagen Yogurt Drinks

From this post, you can tell how much I like yogurt drinks. I do love Yakult but that one small bottle is just not convincing. Now by paying a visit to MiX Convenience Store, you can no longer need to wait for your friend to send you one or two bottles during their trip to Thailand.
