REVIEW: BreadFruit @ Desa Sri Hartamas
I was thinking what to have for dinner while slacking on the couch. The TV was on. Mom was watching her favorite show. Guess we had no home cooked foods today? Ugh, please no Malay foods and fast foods again. I had enough at Cyberjaya in the past few weeks.
Shall we had some special meal tonight?
"Ding! Ding!" A message from Abby. Like finally! "Get yourself ready by 7 PM. We gonna dining out." "Where's the restaurant?" "Breadfruit. Go Google"
A restaurant that offers 100% natural, full nutrient and a balanced diet in their menu. They serve all-natural, real ingredients and eliminate processed or canned food in the food prepared. They do sell fresh fruits with reasonable prices. Wanted to try the green tea cake
but too bad our stomach can't take it anymore. The environment during night time is good. Simple but nice drawings on the mirror, soft lighting, and comfy atmosphere. This restaurant often full-housed during weekend morning. A place where foreigners like to visit.
We ordered three main courses, one salad and dessert. Personally, I love their combination of pasta and half boiled egg. Not too creamy, portion is sufficient for one pax. Not all people would like the taste but I assure you. You'll need to try at least once if you visit this restaurant.
Salad. Another favorite of mine. Mushrooms served with lettuces, fresh tomatoes, a slice of lemonade and cheese powder. I am not a person who likes to take mushrooms. Surprisingly, I finished almost half of the portion of the served mushrooms in the salad.
You may want to give it a try on their pork chop. I would rate it 7/10. Served in sharing portion. They added apple slices to paired with the gravy. The taste of gravy would satisfy your taste bud.
We did order a seafood paella. That would be even better if the paella is spicy. (WHO DOESN'T LIKE SPICYYYYY, haha) Their seafood are fresh. It tastes special where we couldn't find the same taste in local foods. The portion is big and I would advice to share with another person.
Last but not least. HERE COMES THE FAVORITE PART OF ALL! Dessert taimeeeeee! Um... I would say this dessert is kinda unique with the combination. Ever thought of toast eat together with bananas and bacon? Well... That's absolutely taste good! Adding some of the given passion fruit on top would give you a better taste. And this step is crucial. It would definitely give you a better taste of whole.

You may want to chill or spend your afternoon in this restaurant and I would say it is a right place to catch up with your friends as well. Their service is good. Waiters are friendly to serve the customers. You will often see a good smile on their face. All the staffs are doing their best to satisfy each and everyone of the customers. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 8.5/10 Guess the result wasn't that bad for a first time visitor huh? As a whole, I would rate this restaurant:-
