REVIEW: Royal FLORIA Putrajaya Flower and Garden Festival, 2016
Good MORNING, peeeeepooor! Don't be surprised that I'm here at this late hour because it is so excited and can't wait to share it with you all! ;)
Discovered this garden festival on Facebook occasionally when KH and I were chilling at the hostel after lunch. Looked at the venue. WAIT! It is located at PUTRAJAYA. Searched on Waze again and that's only a 15 minutes driving distance from Cyberjaya. I looked at him wickedly and he smiled. As if knowing what I wanted to do. JOM, let's go!
We reached there by 8PM but the traffic was surprisingly congested. No choice but we had to park our car a bit far and walked to the festival. I would suggest you to visit a bit earlier around 6PM to get yourself a nicer parking spot. There would be no parking fee charges, be safe and no worries.
From far, we saw a mass of light. Knowing that we were getting closer to the exhibition.
How badly I wished a selfie stick or monopod was with me at the moment. Taking a decent wefie often is a big problem for short-handed people like me. That's why KH was rarely in a photo with me together. We both were too shy to ask for help from visitors, LOL.
Reached at the ticketing counter after 5 minutes of walk. WOW! The queue was unexpectedly long. The distance from the counter to the last queue was like 40-50 meter. Thank god the staffs were efficient and doing their job fast. But you better be prepared to queue for 30 minutes if late or else choose to purchase the entrance ticket online at Royal FLORIA Putrajaya 2016 official website. Additional online fee (RM 1.50) would be charged upon purchase. You can either choose to pay by credit card (coming soon) or local Internet banking (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks and another 9 more banks). Ticket prices offered as below:

This was the first decoration that I saw once entered to the entrance. Countless of cloth hanging on top. Felt like entered into China Town in a trice, HAHAHA! Along the walking pathway, there were many beautiful bushes with flowers placed at the left and right sides. That would be excellent if there is a garden like this built in my future house! So colorful, so delighted...
And then we started to explore for more. Lily Garden was our first stop. Don't be confused. That is just a name of the garden but not the theme. There is a restaurant if you would like to have some meals.
Didn't get to try their foods and drinks because we were too excited for the flower exhibition. We went to Floria Pavillion after that. A place where displays all the flower shows and floral designs by both local and international participants. I just can't be amazed more of their artworks.
Managed to capture only a few of the artworks but I assure you, there are more shocking designs on the site that you wouldn't want to miss! Oya, all these artworks are displayed indoor with air-conditioning supplied. Not only these but more stunning expo are showing below!
All the light bulbs placed on floral decoration were so beautiful and attractive that I cannot hold. As if bringing me back to the fantasy world that I used to imagine. A carnival that all the kids would fall in love with. Mom, could we live here forever???
Spinning crown
(Don't know why but it makes me think of Malaysia's flag, HAHA!)
I gotta tell you this expo is really really large. Conservative estimation... A combination of four sports fields I would say. We didn't manage to visit every single corner as I said it is so damn big our legs can't take it anymore. Hold on, the best part is coming...
Here comes the favourite garden of mine. I met clowns, mermaid, King & Queen, and Maleficent! Their costumes are so genuine that it looks exactly 100% similar to the films I've watched. They're friendly but they didn't talk. That's "part" of their job, I suppose.
Like a bungalow OMG!!
The colors differ as according to the light changes.
A floated stage special for magic performance. We were unlucky to miss out the show and now you know why need to come earlier. You would miss out so many things! A few floral boats in different decorations at the lakeside. Why they don't provide FREE boat riding? (mehhhhhhh)
Here are some highlights that I would like to share with all the beauties and charm boys who reading this now. “读万卷书不如行万里路” my post merely cover 40% of the expo. Be there soon before it ends!! Opss.. Forget about one thing. This expo is only held until 4th June 2016. Chances are there. Don't miss it!
