REVIEW: Shoutout to The Beauty Haul From Althea.kr

Hi, all! How was your Christmas in the past weekend? Pretty awesome? If you were late to have a companion for the celebration, make sure you've blocked their calendar by now before the New Year countdown. December has so much joy I love it so much! Festive seasons, one after another public holiday and we get to SHOP A LOT for the year end sale. A great reason for oneself to spend with the least guiltiness. Now, let's move on to what I bring you up today! 


No one is unfamiliar with the box, as much as the brand I bet. The South East Asia's largest online beauty store offering a wide range of Korean beauty products. Plus, giving the lowest prices and they ship DIRECTLY FROM KOREA. I guess need not to further explain for the brand because probably you all understand better than me. Let's see what I've got from Althea.


I don't know why but the first time when unboxed it I was like these things are so cute and new to unwrap or use. Unfortunately, I have to do that. There are few products in this box I'm gonna feature here which I personally feel it's worth recommending. 

#1 Mefactory 3 Step Pig Nose Pack

I've heard if we use nose pore strips too often it may cause enlargement of the pores which every girl doesn't want it to happen. But we can't ignore neither. So here it is I recommend to you this Mefactory cleaning blackhead kit with minimizing the pores after used. Not sure how it works? Stay with me and I'll reveal to you...


Step 1: Pore Heating Sheet - Opening pores

"After 15-20 minutes, the heating sheet warms up on skin melting down sebum and opening up pores." - Althea.kr

With the use of this cotton nose mask to place it on. The sheet has a texture similar to the sheet mask we normally use. It's wet and cooling. I can't wait to try out the next step so I've quickly removed the nose mask after 20 minutes.

Step 2: Blackhead Clear Sheet - Removing Sebum

"Wet your nose with water first. Separate 2 Step from transparent sheet. Place it on nose for 10-15 minutes then remove it." - Althea.kr

This part is crucial and I HAVE to remind you to wet the nose thoroughly before placing the sheet because I had a hard time removed it after that. Didn't know why I go wiped off the water on my nose. When I wanted to remove after time's out, I nearly screamed. It stuck on my skin as if removing a tape. Just remember that! Probably I didn't have enough water on the nose that caused the result didn't turn up to be good :(

Step 3: Pore Tightening Sheet - Tightening

"Place the third step on nose & leave it for 5-10 minutes. Gently pat to absorb the remaining liquid." - Althea.kr

Ahh.. This step saves me! The serum moisture my skin after my hard time (though it is not the main function). With this step, it helps soothing and tightening our pores after removing all the blackheads and sebum. So fresh...

The sheets are so big for my nose to make me feel so wasted for the unused parts :/

#2 Holika Holika Golden Monkey Glamour Lip 3-Step Kit

Girl loves wearing lipsticks. Probably "obsessed" I should say? Now guys, let me tell you. Don't ever think that one or two shades of lipstick are good to fulfill the girlfriends. Possibly you'll find plenty of it in girl's cosmetic pouch. Don't be surprised if you find out there are unused ones. Don't blame the girlfriend. Blame the cosmetic brands for launching, HAHA! 

Putting on lipstick enhances feminine but it is harmful to the lips at the same time. Can't give up on the lipstick then why not pampering and moisturizing your lips with a mask? Holika Holika gives every care to the ladies. Here they came out with this 3 in 1 Glamour Lip Kit! This kit contains three benefits to the lips, including exfoliating, hydrating & soothing, and deep moisturizing. 

Step 1: Lip Peeling Patch - Pure Gold & Cellulose smooth out the lips and gently removes skin flakes


First, make sure your lips are clean, wash off the oily dirt, especially after your meals. And then gently wipe/scrub your lips with this patch to remove skin flakes like how I did below.

Till you see the white impurities appear. Wipe it off. Not sure if I scrubbed it too hard that turned my lips so red. Regardless of the mid-result, I can feel my lips are exfoliated and much softer than before. Now, let's proceed to the second step!

Step 2: Volume Up Pack - Lip-shaped, lovely pack including hyaluronic acid and Collagen moisturizes and soothes the lips.

Unpacked the second step and here we go to have this jelly-typed patch to place on the lips. It's so thin and jelly I almost dropped it. But surprisingly, it sticks firmly to my lips and follows the shape curves. Remove it after 15 minutes and gently pat to absorb the essence. 



Step 3: Honey Up Essence - Nutrient-Rich Treatment Essence nourishes the lips making it glow & coated with moisture.


Here we are at the final stage. The honey essence is so glossy and it lasts a long time. The portion of the packet is more than enough for one usage. 


#3 Too Cool For School After School BB Foundation Lunch Box #2

Are you familiar with this brand? In Korea, this brand is kinda famous and hit which suitable to young ladies aged 20 to 30. I like their packaging so much and I bet you too! This product attracted my attention ever since I saw it on Althea.kr. Is cute and cool, isn't it? Literally like a real lunch box, haha! This kit comes with three usages, including BB Cream, Concealer, and Highlighter for base makeup. What even exciting is now you can pay at a cheaper price to have it all! It saves up the place to keep all the cosmetics and no longer needs to carry so many when off for an outing. 





Not gonna demo this product personally because I know there are people who done it better. Here it is a video review from a YouTuber which I individually very agreed.

REVIEW: My Top Five Picks at MiX Convenience Store

What is your favorite activity on a cloudy day? Well, there is nothing better than snacking while watching TV. Western people like having popcorns but us, Malaysian, as if a culture to just grab potato chips and TV remote controller then a movie marathon is about to begin.
