Three Animation Movies That Should Be Listed in Bedtime Stories

Hey, there! I'm glad you are here again to read my sharing. Also, to those who are new, welcome! I hope you will be here until the end of my post. Today's weather is too good to have some thought sharings! Aren't we?

Over the past few days, I went to a cinema with the boyfriend to watch this newly released animation, SING. After the show I was like, NO I'm gonna share everyone what I have in my thought! So yes, a spoiler is in action now because I can't wait to tell. (Nah, not gonna reveal what is not supposed to be told so don't worry. Anyhow, SING is not the main content of the entire post though)

I like to watch animation. No, I LOVE watching. Especially DreamWorks and Walt Disney's productions. You may think I'm childish to have this interest at my age but I just can't hate it. It is unreal and the characters are all illusory. But, don't you think it is so good to immerse yourself in an illusive yet happy scene once in awhile than frowning while watching a movie, figuring out how would the main character escape from killing? An animation is not simply throwing a lame joke or teasing a good friend intentionally. Every humor has its reason behind and the story arrangement is so crucial that a little action or conversation or response could make a difference. Moreover, the message and the moral that a producer would want to deliver could clearly be delivered with zero confusion.

Animation no longer targets only the kids but also adults.

This is the thought that I would want to share, also the main reason I blog about this post afterall. These days, animation storyline is beyond kid's understanding. Well, at least they need adults to explain in a more straightforward way to have a better understanding of a moral value? Would you expect a kid to understand the true reason Elsa kept a distance from Anna, her good sister, who she truly cherish the most? Kids might think that Elsa isolated herself from Anna is because she dislikes her. Instead, Elsa wanted to keep her sister safe from the curse. Sound effects and visual enjoyment are worth mentioning. Those effects are just too amazing! I wowed every time I get to enjoy impressive effects. My eyeballs enlarged like 3-4 times bigger and I had goosebump straight. Didn't you?

There are few animations which I personally very impressed and they've delivered good messages to us to actually think about the good moral value behind. I think these animations should have listed in bedtime stories like how Cinderella, Snow White, and Beauty & The Beast are remembered over the past decades.

#1 FROZEN
Whoever have never watched this movie deserves a punch. Yes, I'm speaking this to you (my boyfriend). Recalling the moment I watched this Frozen at home, (didn't bother to watch at first so I did not head to cinema once it was released.) I was so concentrated that never kept my eye away from the screen. Just watched until the end. I like all the songs in Frozen. The melody is catchy and good to sing along. Talking about the lyrics, it's so simple but meaningful at the same time as if having a conversation with somebody. Cannot agree more that "Let it go" is the highlight. The creativity in having such awesome effects deserves round of applause. A LOUD ONE! Back to the story. The concept of the entire movie is to bring up the sibling's love, the unconditional love that sisters would give to each other. A very good moral value to be passing down to the young generation. What about the adult side? A girl needs not boy's love to survive - this is my answer. If you remember there's one scene Anna wanted to be kissed by Hans in order to be rescued from frozen curse accidentally placed upon her heart by Elsa. It does not work that way at the end. Anna is alive again from the love of her sister, Elsa, eventually. Most of us will often minimize the love from family when we are so into a guy. Knowing that family will never leave us that makes us take it for granted. (Yes? No?)

#2 ZOOTOPIA
A story to educate both kid and adult to dream big and take a step to make it happen. Yes, there are voices to stop you, but determination is always the first thing to fulfill before you talk about others.

Judy is determined. She knows what she wants.
Judy is independent. She leaves her carrot farm & works hard in a new city.
Judy is optimistic. She has hope. She never gives up though assigned as traffic officer.
Judy is ambitious. She jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case to prove herself right.
Judy is smart. Be like Judy Hopps!
(It's lame I know, LOL)

Zootopia demostrated a few characters in real life. Nick Wilde, a cunning fox plays trick to survive but he is good in nature. Society made him behaves in that way. Because he is a predator, the local Junior Ranger Scouts members threw him a cruel prank which makes him unreachable after grown up. Though joining the division was once Nick's dream as a 9 y/o kid. It happens to us all the time. Society changes human's behavior. It "directs" people to behave in a society-want-us-to manner. It's sucks but it is a truth. Next, we have Flash - the sloth. The character I like the most hahahah! I think of government immediately once he was introduced. I can't say more but I bet our hearts have consonance.

#3 SING
I'm happy that I've chosen the right movie to spend. There is this time when achievement and satisfaction cannot be replaced by prizes. We take action to certain incidents may because of tying with some good deals. When the deal is excluded, there are people who give up, also there are people to continue.

Buster Moon: You know what’s great about hitting rock bottom, there’s only one way left to go, and that’s up!

Buster Moon: [to Meena] Don’t let fear stop you from doing the thing you love.

Until today, these quotes are still in my mind. It's so powerful and influential. I think the words tell it all. Never give up, keep doing! If you want it nothing can stops you. Be like Rosita. She is a mother of 25 piggies. She works her way out to take care of her child while in the midst of joining the singing competition, plus not neglecting the husband. There's this character that should be mentioning here. He did nothing impressive or touching story involved. He is Mike - the white mouse with an arrogant attitude. This character demonstrates the selfishness and arrogant in us. Never bother to help the others. Anyhow, SING is a good movie that you should at least download or watch it online if you feel spending money on animation is not worthy. There are many funny scenes that you should not missed!

It's a wrap! I love the idea how an animation delivers different messages to the kids and adults. A production which allow parents and kids to enjoy the show together while the adults do not get bored of lame jokes. Adding in very catchy songs to have the audiences remember the movie once the song is played. Slowly bringing animation to a upper level. Now, I'm waiting for the next production from DreamWorks - The Baby Boss, to be released in March 2017! Personally, I think it's a good idea to combine animation with musical. I wonder what is in your thought now after reading. Shall we share it together? Come on, start typing it down in the comment box below! ;)

Hope you're not yawning now or get bored of my contents, haha.
Thanks for reading!
Till the next update ❤
Love, xx
