Melbourne 8N7D Family Trip | I WANT TO MIGRATE!

Looking back to the photos and I wish to turn back time even more. A trip that I looked forward since last year. Didn't expect much in the beginning but now I would want to visit this city again. Without further ado, let's roll and I'll share you what we have done on this vacation.

#Day-1: Departure & Arrival
After my previous trip to Korea, this was the second time I sat on a flight for bloody eight hours. Tortured especially when you've downloaded a few of videos and thought it might be helped to kill some time. Mana tau couldn't be played. Ok, what I did was put on the earphones and slept through the whole flight. 3 rounds in total. Upon arrival, we then headed over to Abby & Lian's apartment at Victoria, also it was our accommodation for the following days.

#Day-2: Explore The City
After done prepared, we then settled our brunch at QV Shopping Mall. There are quite many of choices in the mall's food court. You can expect Asian foods if you don't fancy with western cuisine. Walked around the city was kinda fun, especially in the city you've never been to. I believe how street art could represent the culture of a country. Art is an international language, no boundaries.

Because it was late summer, moving to Autumn during our visit to Melbourne so we literally spent few hours exploring at outdoor. The weather was cooling. I suppose this would never happen in Malaysia. Walk under the hot sun for 15 mins already sweat like hell 😓.

We then headed over to a park where it's near to the city. We had a picnic! Which I wanted to experience since long time ago. You should try doing that, at least once in a lifetime.

#Day-3: Skydive @ Torquay & The Twelve Apostles
I'm sure this section was the best part for my sisters and BILs. No, I did not join them this round. Physically and mentally not ready for this ultimate challenge yet, hahah! But if you like exciting sports, you gonna love it so much. Approximately AUD 300 for a round + video. 10 seconds freestyle landing upon jumping down from the helicopter and no longer than 30 seconds, your parachute is opened. Mild reminder, never opens your mouth before landing because the air could dry up your throat. Prepare some water just in case.

After our quick lunch, we continued the journey at The Twelve Apostles. People say you should at least visit this attraction once or your trip in Melbourne is wasted. Hmm... Expect a 15 minutes walk and there are few nice spots to take photos.

Another stop that you can consider visiting at night is Brunetti, the dessert shop. We went thrice and every time it was full of people. Obviously, their desserts and coffees are dayummm!

#Day-4: Brighton Bathing Boxes
Done our early breakfast with Lune Croissanterie. Biggest regret that I didn't get to visit the restaurant because I've chosen to sleep in over the visit 💔. Ended up, A&L brought back us a box of croissants. So yummy I forgot to snap a picture. Their croissants are fresh and crispy. I can imagine it is even fresher and tastier if dine in. 100 marks from me! Please try this out or you'll regret.

Right after that, here we off for Brighton Bathing Boxes. The iconic colorful houses. Not sure how many boxes in total but as I know some are wholly owned by individuals. Yes, they sell. Western people's lifestyle is arousing. The sun was crazily hot that day so we were in hurry to snap as many photos as possible then CIAO.

(no idea what was I looking at. Hot chicks I assume 😏.)

At night, A&L, mom, kids and I settled our dinner at the apartment. The remaining two pairs were granted 二人世界的机会. We went to Coles, the supermarket to get some fresh foods and drinks for steamboat. The night ended with laughter, nice drinks and foods, awesome people, and blessings 💖.

#Day-5: Werribee Open Range Zoo
This section was a bit disappointed because we didn't get to see koala and kangaroo due to the extreme weather. It's bloody 39 degree Celsius like crazy. I can get heat stroke anytime. Cut off the craps we then took a tour to explore the zoo. You can get yourself a mask unless you don't mind the dust stick around you after the entire tour which takes you about 45 minutes.

(so hot I need hydration)

Phillip island (the penguin parade) was also one of the places we wanted to visit but it wasn't at the end because everyone was tired, rather chilled at the apartment and rested. Bluebonnet Barbecue could be a nice place to dine in if you happen to go to Victoria. They sell nice pork ribs, beef sausages, and lamb.

#Day-6 & 7: We don't bring back the Aussie dollar. Let's SHOPPPPPPP!
Basically, we spent the last 2 days with shopping. Most are indoor activities. If you would want to get some souvenirs back for your f&f, can consider exploring at QV mall, H&M, Cotton On (both stand alone), Chemist Warehouse (similar to Watson & Guardian), Royal Arcade, and Queen Victoria Market. Pssst... Ladies, keep an eye on these few outlets (Valley Girl, Tempt, Supre, Dotti). Their prices are much more affordable.

(One of the stop where Angelababy filmed for Running Man in Australia)

Another attraction you shouldn't miss. The pink lake is another iconic where you can literally see the water in pink color due to the sunlight refraction. Be aware of the water as you're not advised to touch on it.

Didn't miss out any places we've been to, I suppose? Well, that's my story in Melbourne. One more thing you should know. Allocate at least 2 weeks time if you would want to have a relaxing trip in this city. Due to time constraint, we actually canceled quite a few attractions and places should visit this round. Oh yea, get more potato chips if you love it because their chips are NICE! My mom bought quite a few packs back to main land, hahaha!

That's all for this round. Stay tuned for my next update as I'll share you what I've bought from Chemist Warehouse. Have you ever tried to conceal your blemishes with a green color concealer? Stay with me and I'll reveal soon 😉!

Thanks for reading, xx
